PLA (Polylactic Acid)

Odorless and Safe: It emits a mildly sweet, non-toxic odor while printing, making it perfectly safe for home, office, and classroom environments.
Eco-Friendly: It is a bioplastic derived from plants, making it a sustainable alternative to standard thermoplastics. It is industrially compostable. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Variety: It comes in the widest assortment of colors, textures (e.g., silk, matte, glitter), and blends
Biodegradable & Compostable: Capable of breaking down naturally under industrial composting conditions.
Safe to use: Non-toxic and emits a slightly sweet, mild odor rather than harsh fumes when printed
High rigidity & tensile strength: Creates stiff, durable parts that hold complex, fine details beautifully.
Low heat resistance: Softens at roughly 60 °C (Glass Transition Temperature), making it unsuitable for high-temperature environments or outdoor use
Post-processing friendly: Easy to sand, paint, and glue
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified)

Durability: It is highly resistant to impact, wear, and stress, making it an excellent choice for mechanical or functional parts
Temperature Resistance: It can withstand higher temperatures (up to around 80°C to 85°C) before deforming, which is much better than standard PLA. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Outdoor Suitability: It features good UV stability and absorbs very little moisture, which helps prevent prints from degrading in the elements.
Visuals: The glycol modification gives it excellent clarity and a high-gloss finish, making it great for translucent prints like light covers.
Odorless: It does not produce the noxious fumes or strong odors often associated with printing ABS, making it safer for enclosed or unventilated spaces.
Functional prototypes and enclosures.
Mechanical components like gears, brackets, and snap-fit parts.
Everyday objects that require toughness, such as phone cases or bag clips.
TPU 95A (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)

Hardness: 95 on the Shore A scale (about as firm as a skateboard wheel or a shoe heel).
Durability: High resistance to wear, tearing, grease, oil, and various industrial chemicals.
Elongation: Can stretch significantly (usually 450% to 650%) before breaking.
Temperature: Excellent cold-temperature resilience, though it should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 116 °C.
Phone cases and protective covers
Wearable accessories (watch bands)
Vibration dampers and shock-absorbing components
Mechanical seals, gaskets, and snap-fit parts
